What is Frilly Ponderings, Why I Made It, and What to Expect

For a while now, I've been mainly discussing topics regarding what I believe needs to be changed in Lolita communities online and off and giving tips for beginner Lolitas on my youtube channel. It seemed like a good medium for me and I stick to that belief. My problem is often I find myself in the predicament of having so much to say on a topic. Having twenty to forty minute long videos doesn't make anyone happy and I feel like if I continue the trend, no one will stick around to hear the end of my argument. 
That's where this blog comes in. 
Frilly Ponderings will be a place where I can explain more fully my ideas on topics I would normally discuss in length in my Lolita Problem's videos, so those which want the full picture can read more on it and we can have better discussions. It's important to me that we as a community continue to think about what we can do to end bullying, body shaming, and become an all around nicer community. 
Beyond bringing my Lolita Problem's topics here, I will also give more full reviews of items I purchase or are given to me. Sometimes in my reviews I feel like I don't fully explain the pros and cons of a single garment or the video is blurry during close ups, so I will be giving a written review to accompany any video reviews I make. 
These reviews will also stem out to items which aren't necessarily Lolita related, so get ready for Forever21 hauls and thrift shop/ online shopping finds. I don't necessarily want to film reviews of these items since my channel is strictly Lolita, but I believe it's important to let other consumers know how you feel about products they may be interested in purchasing. The good, the bad, all of it should be available to potential shoppers so they may be informed consumers. 
I will also talk on here about recent Lolita news, and my takes on new brand releases. If it's Lolita related, it'll be here. Don't worry, this isn't me breaking off from my channel, this is me expanding it. Today's subscriber count reached 276- about twenty more since my thank you video. I appreciate your interest so much and I want to continue to make content you enjoy. 
All blog posts will be posted to my facebook page and in the descriptions of their respective videos. Likewise can be said about each blog post; if there is a video made regarding the same topic, you can be sure to find the video somewhere in the blog post.
